BEAUMONT, Calif. - Family and friends of a Beaumont woman killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting said their final goodbyes today in Riverside.
Hannah Ahlers, 35, died Sunday while attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival with her husband of 17 years, Brian Ahlers. She was among the victims in the massacre that left 59 dead and 527 injured.
Brian was joined in the front row by family members, including their 14-year-old daughter, 11-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter.
The stage was lined with sunflowers. Family members tell reporter Lauren Coronado they were Hannah's favorite flowers.
A slideshow shared family memories. Friends and loved ones shared thoughts on Hannah and how she lived, including her religion and love for Jesus Christ.
Ahlers' funeral was held at 10:00 AM at Harvest Riverside Church in Riverside.
She graduated from Redlands East Valley High School in 2002 and studied at Crafton Hills College.
Ahlers lived in Redlands before moving to Beaumont five years ago. Early reports listed her as a resident of Murrieta.
Her family said she was "beautiful inside and out and loved life and people. She was our sunshine."
