SAN BERNARDINO - A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a San Bernardino club. Police have arrested the suspect's father, who is accused of being an accessory to the murder.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Celebrity Bar and Grill in the 100 block of East 40th Street.
Responding officers found Victor Green, 24, shot to death in the club's parking lot. The shooter was nowhere to be found.
Police are searching for Matthew Atilano, 21, who witnesses say was the shooter.
"They shot him cold and left him laying in the parking lot, and I don't understand it," said Coty Marie, the victim's cousin. "He was a good kid, a family man."
Police don't have a motive for the shooting, but the victim's relatives said they heard racist remarks in the bar.
Police said Atilano is considered armed and dangerous.
