With Thursday and Friday marking the 151st anniversary of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, look back at the other violence that has occurred in April in America.

Go a lot further back into U.S. history and there are a few more anniversaries of bloody events. President Abraham Lincoln was shot in the back of the head by assassin John Wilkes Booth on April 14, 1865, and died the following morning after remaining in a coma for nine hours.
