COACHELLA, Calif. -

A search underway for a man and woman who robbed a woman at gunpoint in Coachella Thursday afternoon. 

It happened in the area of Avenue 48 and Jackson Street at 4:05 p.m. as a woman walked in an area parking lot. According to Sgt. Juan Zamora of the Coachella Police Department, she was approached by a man and woman in a green sedan, the man then showed a gun, and demanded property from the vicitm. 

The victim complied with the suspect's demands and gave him her property, before the pair fled the parking lot. The victim was not injured.

The suspects are described as a Hispanic male and a Hispanic female. The male is about 20 to 25 years old, shaved head, wearing a dark-colored shirt. The female suspect is in her early 20's.
