Authorities have released the name of the pilot killed in an ultra light plane crash in Whitewater.
Investigators say 50-year-old Charles Ross crashed his plane near Whitewater Canyon Road and the Wildlands Conservancy Trout Farm, just north of Interstate 10 around 7:20 p.m. Saturday night.
Officials said the Lakeview man was the only person on board the aircraft and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FAA continues to investigate the crash.
