(CNN) -- Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and city contractor Bobby Ferguson were sent Monday to a federal detention facility by U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Edmunds, hours after both were convicted in their corruption trial, CNN affiliates WDIV and WXYZ reported.
