TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. -

San Bernardino County Sheriffs deputies arrested a Twentynine Palms man Wednesday evening, charged with shooting another man in the arm.

Deputies say Robert Dismuke, 48, of Twentynine Palms was hospitalized for injuries he suffered to his left forearm when he was shot at close range Wednesday evening at 10 p.m.

The alleged attack occurred on the 6800 block of Manzanita Avenue in Twentynine Palms.

Witnesses to the alleged attack identified Kendon James Knight, 27, as a suspect.

Deputies say they located Knight a short time later hiding inside a nearby business.

He was arrested and taken into custody without incident then transported to the Morongo Basin Jail.

Knight was booked for Attempted Murder and is being held in lieu of one million dollars bail, according to the sheriffs department.
