PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -

Singer Lesley Gore will start her stint with the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies tonight.

Gore, known for the 1963 hit "It's My Party," which she recorded at age 16, will take the stage at 7 p.m.

Lorna Luft, daughter of Judy Garland, opened the Follies' 22nd season, themed  "Dance to the Music," in November. Other guest stars in the season that ends May 19 include singer Lou Christie, who preceded Gore, and Hula Hoop performer Mat Plendl.

The Follies has a cast of 16 singers and dancers ranging in age from 56-86, who perform pieces from the 1940s, '50s and '60s.
