Mary Bono Mack's winter ski season appeared to come to a premature end Sunday after she said she broke her right wrist in a snowboarding mishap on the slopes in Colorado.
The former 36th Congressional District Republican representative tweeted Sunday evening, "Boarding experiment over. Broken right wrist. Damn. There goes ski season. Good time to work on my book."
In an earlier Tweet, Bono Mack said Friday she was taking her first snowboarding lesson at the Durango Mountain Resort in Colorado where she was vacationing along with her husband, former Florida Republican U.S. Rep. Connie Mack.
In that earlier tweet, Bono Mack said she preferred skiing to snowboarding.
