The man who was arrested for riding a motorcycle in the Westfield Shopping Center last month was arrested again yesterday. This time he is accused of robbing a Boost Mobile Store in Palm Desert.
Early this morning, Palm Desert police responded to a burglar alarm at the Boost Mobile Store on San Pablo Drive in Palm Desert. When they arrived they confirmed the store had been robbed and stopped a man who was walking down the street not far from the Boost Mobile store.
The man, 19-year-old Cody Riddle, was arrested after police learned he had a no-bail warrant for burglary. While being handcuffed, police found a 9MM handgun on the ground just feet away from where he stood.
After searching the area near the Boost Mobile Store. Police discovered a jacket with Riddle's name on it, a pair of gloves, and three phones. Riddle was booked for his no-bail warrant, burglary, carrying a loaded firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, and a violation of probation.
In February Riddle was arrested on DUI-drug and violating felony probation charges after attempting to ride a motorcycle through the Westfield Shopping Center.
