Police in Orange today sought a missing 31-year-old woman and her two children after the arrest of her ex-boyfriend, who is suspected of killing all three.
Shazer Fernando Limas, 31, the father of the missing children, was
arrested by California Highway Patrol officers on Interstate 5 south of the San Onofre weigh station in San Diego County about 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the end of a chase, Orange police Sgt. Dan Adams said.
Limas is suspected of killing Arlet Hernandez, 31, as well as a 2-year-old child and 4-month-old baby, in the apartment they shared at 3063 W. Chapman Ave.
After hours of questioning, Limas was booked Friday on suspicion of murder, he said.
Detectives used cadaver dogs to search a landfill in Brea for the bodies but apparently no sign of the trio was detected,
Richard Lee, who was sent to clean the apartment's carpets found them covered in blood, ABC7 reported.
"There was a lot of blood," he told the station. "There was blood
everywhere."
Limas was arrested Thursday when a California Highway Patrol officer used to spike strip to flatten the tires on his Nissan 350Z during a law enforcement pursuit.
