LA QUINTA, Calif. -

A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was centered 15 miles southwest of La Quinta Wednesday at 11:17 a.m.

The earthquake came on the heels of a magnitude 3.4 that was felt in the same area at 10:50 a.m.

There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries. Riverside County Sheriff's Cpl. Angel Ramos said no one contacted the sheriff's department about the quakes.
