Hard Rock Hotels will bring its "Hard Rock Music Lounge" to Palm Springs during the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, organizers said today.
The Hard Rock Music Lounge, which will take place this Friday through Sunday at Hotel Zoso, is a three day event for artists, celebrities, media and VIPs attending the music festival in Indio. The hotel is the site of the planned Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs, which is expected to open in the fall.
Hard Rock Music Lounge will include live music, drinks and food, games, pool parties, body art and services like massages. The event will start Friday with a pool party including a live camel and a DJ set by members of The Strokes. Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland will host the "Women Who Rock" pool party on Saturday, according to organizers.
"We're excited to bring the Hard Rock vibe to this iconic destination, and establish a new legacy of authentic, once-in-a-lifetime music experiences at the soon-to-be Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs," said John Kirkpatrick, head of music and artist relations for Hard Rock International.
