SOUTH DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. -

Authorities sought the public's help today in finding four teenagers who attacked and robbed a man in his Desert Hot Springs home.

The robbery in the 19000 block of Chuckwalla was reported about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, sheriff's Sgt. Tom Brewster said.

A 45-year-old man was home alone when four teenagers "physically assaulted (him) and stole several items of personal property," he said.

The suspects ran off, and the victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. He wasn't taken to a hospital, Brewster said.

The suspects were described as white or Hispanic males 15 to 16 years old, all wearing dark clothing.
