An investigation was under way this morning into a vehicle-pedestrian crash in Cathedral City that injured a 46-year-old woman.
      
A Hyundai sedan was traveling east in the 67750 block of East Palm Canyon Drive around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when it struck Judy Green of Palm Springs, said Cathedral City police Sgt. Julio Luna. Green was crossing the street from north to south when she was struck and was not in a crosswalk, he said.

The Hyundai's driver stopped to assist the woman and called 911, he said.

She was treated at the scene by Cathedral City Fire Department paramedics and taken to Eisenhower Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Luna said.

The crash investigation is continuing, he said.
