Arrest in Rancho Mirage Pot clinic burglary

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. -

A suspect who reportedly burglarized a marijuana collective in Rancho Mirage Tuesday morning has been arrested, says a spokesman from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

According to Riverside County Sheriff's Department Spokesperson Angel Ramos, John Schiavone, 29, La Quinta broke into the Spot Collective Pot Dispensary in Rancho Mirage, located at 69730 Highway 111, early Tuesday morning. 

Ramos says "just before 6:00 a.m., we got a call that the collective had been burglarized.  The burglar made entry from an adjoining abandoned building by cutting a hole in the wall in between the two rooms." 

Schiavone reportedly got away with a small amount of Marijuana and some cash.  No other details about the arrest or suspect have been released to the media at this time.
