ANZA -- The county coroner has said a Desert Hot Springs man has died.James Gardner, 54, was riding a motorcycle on Highway 371 in Anza when he hit the back of an SUV on Aug. 8. Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time.Gardner was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. He was pronounced dead Friday night.
