Palm Desert Law Firm Giving Free Hands-Free Devices
You have less than a week to get a hands-free device for your cell phone. Starting July 1, you can't drive and talk on your phone without a headset.
One local attorney is giving away free headsets.
The Walter Clark Law Firm out of Palm Desert is giving away the headsets. The headsets are high quality and can be used in many cell phone brands.
"We're providing this service to comply with the law, but to also let them know to be conscious and not let their attention be distracted," attorney Walter Clark said Thursday.
To get your free headset, you will have to sign up on the law firm's web site at www.walterclark.com.
You have to be 18 years or older with a valid drivers license.
Lucky recipients may pick up their headset starting July 3.
