1987: The comedy "Raising Arizona," starring Nicolas Cage, Holly Hunter and John Goodman, and written, directed and produced by Joel and Ethan Coen, opens in theaters. Although not a blockbuster upon its release, the movie would go on to achieve cult status and is considered among some of the best movie comedies ever made.
