1960: Actor Mykelti Williamson, best known for his role as Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue in the 1994 film "Forrest Gump," is born in St. Louis, Mo. Williamson is also known for TV roles on the short-lived series "Boomtown" and on the eighth and final season of "24."
