1910: Actor David Niven, best known for movies such as "A Matter of Life and Death," "The Bishop's Wife," "Enchantment," "Around the World in 80 Days," "The Pink Panther" and "Separate Tables," is born in London, England. He was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1959 for his performance in "Separate Tables."
