1903: Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman Francis Michael "King" Clancy, who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs and won three Stanley Cup championships, is born Francis in Ottawa, Canada.
