1954: Musician and singer-songwriter John Doe, best known as a co-founder and vocalist/bassist of the Los Angeles punk band X, is born John Nommensen Duchac in Decatur, Ill. Doe has also acted in movie such as "Great Balls of Fire!," "Road House," "Vanishing Point," "Boogie Nights" and "The Good Girl" and the TV show "Roswell."
