Pro Football Hall of Fame

1934: Pro Football Hall of Fame member Bart Starr, who was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers from 1956 to 1971, is born in Montgomery, Ala. Starr led the Packers to five NFL championships and two Super Bowl wins, in Super Bowls I and II.
