2002: Winona Ryder is sentenced to three years of probation and 480 hours of community service stemming from her conviction for shoplifting $5,500 worth of designer clothes and accessories from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, Calif. She is also ordered to pay $10,000 in fines and restitution.
