1977: Quarterback Joe Namath plays the last game of his National Football League career. The future Hall of Famer takes a beating for the Los Angeles Rams on a cold, windy and rainy Monday night game as they fall 24-23 at the Chicago Bears and was through for the regular season. He retired following the season.
