Images: Sunday accident sends driver to hospital, another to jail

A major car accident on Ramon Road near the intersection with Sunrise Avenue, sent a woman to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries on Sunday. The other driver now faces felony DUI charges.

A Honda Civic collided with a Toyota Corolla whose driver was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs on Sunday, where she remained hospitalized in "guarded" condition, Palm Springs police Sgt. Mike Kovaleff said.
