Two missing girls from Riverside found safe near their home
The girls apparently left their home around midnight Saturday when they were having a sleepover
Police say two Southern California girls who vanished during a weekend sleepover have been found near their hometown.
Riverside police Sgt. David Amador says in a statement last night that 12-year-old Raylynn Bolt and 14-year-old Diana Tourdot were found by police in San Bernardino, about 15 miles away from Riverside.
Police did not say anything about the girls' condition or provide any other details about the girls or their reappearance, saying only that they would be returned to Riverside and interviewed by detectives there.
Police said earlier that the two girls most likely ran away during the Saturday night sleepover at one of their homes.
Riverside police said they believed the pair dropped out of sight voluntarily and were not in any danger.
The girls had also been seen in various locations in Riverside and Corona.
