DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. -

A teen has died while riding his bike in Desert Hot Springs after being struck by a motorist.

Police say 16-year-old Reuben Guzman veered into traffic at the intersection of West Drive and West Arroyo Drive at 5:35 p.m. on Thursday.

Authorities say the driver in a truck struck the teen and another juvenile.

Guzman was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where he later died.

The driver never stopped.

Police are looking for a gray or blue Nissan truck with major front end damage. The vehicle was last seen headed southbound through Tedesco park.

The condition of the other person who was hit is unknown at this time.
