Corona, Calif. -

The robber known as the "Button-down Bandit" is in custody tonight, according to the Corona Police Department. 

He was identified as 50 year old David Michael Younger, of Corona.

Younger was arrested in Redlands.

He is wanted in connection to at least 5 bank robberies. The latest took place last Friday, in Corona.

The "Button-down Bandit" also struck here in the valley, allegedly targeting the U.S. Bank branch in La Quinta.

Man accused in 5 bank robberies in a month

Police have caught the man they dubbed the 'Button-Down Bandit', who is accused of robbing at least five banks in the last month in Orange County and Riverside County. He was arrested in Redlands and was identified as 50 year-old Michael Younger of Corona.
