The City of Palm Springs introduced an informational Web page for the Nov. 5 election.

Voters can get information on City Council candidates, the Measure B tax on medical marijuana collectives, voter registration, sample ballots, vote-by-mail applications and other services at www.votepalmsprings.com. Election information is also posted on the city's website, www.palmspringsca.gov.

"It is important our residents receive as much information as possible about the upcoming election so they can make an informed choice,'' City Clerk James Thompson said.

The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 21. Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Nov. 5. Registration applications are available at the post office, City Hall or the public library.
