Local boxing champion Timothy Bradley will introduce a documentary about Muhammad Ali at a special screening tomorrow in Palm Springs.

``The Trials of Muhammad Ali'' will be shown at 7:30 p.m. at Camelot Theatres. Bradley is taking time out from training for his Oct. 12 fight against Juan Manuel Marquez to introduce the film, which is presented by the American Documentary Film Festival, event spokesman Michael Green said.

The documentary traces the boxing legend's personal development outside the ring, including his conversion to Islam and refusal to serve in the Vietnam War. Bill Siegel directed the film, which was released in May and is being screened around the country.

Bradley, a Coachella Valley resident, beat Manny Pacquiao for the World Boxing Organization welterweight championship last year and will defend his title against Marquez in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the screening are $10 and can be purchased at the theater box office, by calling (760) 325-6565 or online at .
