The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose six-tenths of a cent Friday to $3.626, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.3 cents more than one week ago, 5.4 cents higher than one week ago and 8.2 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price  Information Service.

``It appears Southern Californians are making it through 2013 without seeing any new price records set for gasoline, but average prices have remained  stubbornly above $3.50 a gallon for nearly three straight years,'' said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
