The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire ended four days of stability Tuesday by rising seven-tenths of a cent to $3.62.

  The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties was unchanged Monday, decreased one-tenth of a cent on  Friday and Sunday and rose one-tenth of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.   

   The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 5.3 cents higher than one week ago and 7.5 cents greater than one year ago.
