The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose for the 10th consecutive day, increasing 1 cent to $3.72, its highest amount since October 25th.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 11.8 cents over the past 10 days and is 10.8 cents more than one week ago and 5.5 cents higher than one month ago but 43.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The rising prices are the result of reduced gasoline production amid refinery maintenance, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.
