RIVERSIDE, Calif. -

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular  gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Monday to its lowest amount since Feb. 1,  decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.867.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has fallen for 20 consecutive days and 26 of the past 27, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 6 cents less than one week ago,  20.2 cents lower than one month ago and 23.2 cents below what it was one year  ago.

   The average price has fallen 20.2 cents over the past 27 days, including six-tenths of a cent on both Saturday and Sunday.
