The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose a half-cent Wednesday to $3.614, one day after being unchanged.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2.1 cents more than one week ago and a half-cent higher than one month ago but 3.9 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.  

   The average price has risen eight times in the past 10 days, increasing 2.7 cents over that span.
