The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular  gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Friday to its lowest amount since Jan. 29, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.757.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased for 30 consecutive days and is 4.6 cents less than one week ago, 25.6 cents  lower than one month ago and 81.5 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The streak of decreases is the longest since a 32-day streak from March 1-April 1.

``Pump prices are not dropping quite as quickly now because wholesale prices have stayed within the same 15-cent margin for the last month and there is less room for further declines,'' said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
