Women face prostitution charges after undercover sting operation

Three women are facing prostitution charges this morning after police conducted an undercover sting operation.

The operation was conducted on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. within the city of Palm Desert.

During the operation, three women nwere arrested on suspicion prostitution: Torri Wilkinson, 31, from Salt Lake City, Yunhua Lu, 40, from San Gabriel, California and Tricia Rodriguez, 25, from Coachella.

Two others also face charges: 45-year-old Mei Jun Wang from La Quinta, was arrested for pandering and 23-year-old Reynaldo Gonzalez from Coachella was arrested for managing prostitution.

All of the arrested were booked into the jail in Indio on their respective charges.
