Thousand Palms house fire under investigation

Firefighters found smoke coming from the attic of an unoccupied home

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. -

Firefighters responded to a residential fire in Thousand Palms around 12:45a.m. today.

The blaze broke out at an unoccupied single story home located at 72900 La Canada Way.

Arriving firefighters found smoke coming from the attic and were able to contain the fire in a half hour's time.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
