Police investigate trio of east valley crimes
Investigators believe two robberies related, seek info on third
Police are investigating several armed robberies in La Quinta that are possibly related.
Two women say a man with a gun stole their purses Saturday night on the 54000 block of Avenida Rubio.
Another man had his wallet stolen a half hour later near Venice Drive and San Marino court.
The suspect in both of these crimes was a hispanic man in his late 20's or early 30's who sped off in a white suv.
Police say two men forced their way into a La quinta home on the 51000 block of Avenida Bermudas then stole some property.
The suspects were described as hispanic, 5'8" with a medium build and wearing dark clothing.
