MECCA, Calif. -

The American Red Cross is helping five people out of their homes this morning after a fire in the East Valley.

Emergency crews were called to 84300 Ave 6 in Mecca just before 8 p.m. just east of Harrison and south of Airport.

Arriving crews found smoke pouring from the home. Firefighters put out the flames in about 20 minutes.

No injuries are being reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
