RIVERSIDE, Calif. -

Early voting was set to begin Friday morning in Riverside County giving voters a chance to cast an early ballot.

A polling location was set to open at 10 a.m. at the Palm Desert Westfield mall near Highway 111 and Monterey Avenue.

It will be open for voters from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sunday on the mall's first floor in front of the Macy's furniture gallery.

Early voting is also available in Riverside and Temecula.

Registered voters can go to any site and either drop off a vote by mail ballot or vote on an electronic voting unit.
