Cathedral City man recovering after being shot several times
The 20-year-old man was conscious and uncooperative when police arrived

A 20-year-old Cathedral City man, shot several times on Sunday, was expected to survive his gunshot wounds, a police sergeant said.
Police responded at 12:08 a.m. to a "shots fired" call in the 32400
block of Shifting Sands found the gunshot victim conscious and uncooperative,
said Cathedral City police Sgt. Alberto Ruiz.
Paramedics rushed the man to Desert Regional Hospital. He refused to
provide a statement to police, Ruiz said.
Cathedral City police asked anyone with any information regarding the
shooting attack to call them at (760) 770-0303.
