Bianca Rae is the CBS Local 2 weekend evening anchor and Eye On the Desert entertainment reporter in Palm Springs, California. You can catch her on the hottest red carpets interviewing celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, Melissa Etheridge, Enrique Iglesias, Mary Hart, Wynonna Judd, Amy Adams, Derek Hough...the list goes on.

Bianca was chosen as one of Palm Springs Life's "40 Under 40", honoring the top 40 leaders in the desert under the age of 40. She also was voted "Best TV Personality" for CV Weekly's 2013-14 contest and was nominated for "Best TV Personality" in Palm Springs Life's 2013-14 vote.

A 2011 graduate from the University of Missouri, Bianca received a dual degree in broadcast journalism and spanish as well as a minor in sociology. She is a bilingual reporter who anchored and reported at KOMU-8, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri for three years. She interned at KTLA-5 in
2009 and 2010, and E! Entertainment and Fox Sports in LA in 2010.

In her free time, Bianca loves trying new restaurants, and thankfully she enjoys working out, particularly CrossFit. She enjoys romance novels,  baseball games, hiking, country music, spending time with her rescue dog, Jack - and a good quote can turn her day around. She loves to travel and hopes to visit all seven continents.

Bianca is an active philanthropist in the Coachella Valley. She is the founder of the Bianca Rae Foundation, a non-profit serving under-served children and all animals.  She serves as a member of the Junior League of Palm Springs, and is active with Companions Visitation Ministry of Sacred Heart Church. Bianca is also a member of Media Mavens, a local networking group for women in print, radio and television.

She took 1st place in the 2nd Annual "Dancing With the Desert Stars" event in Palm Springs. Bianca wowed the crowd with her Tango and Cha Cha. The event raised a total of $75,000 for the Desert Aids Project 100 Women.

Bianca is very close with her family and she stays in touch with them in Chicago via long phone calls and Skype.
