INDIAN WELLS, Calif. - A local resort will launch the Coachella Valley's``concert month'' this week with an event featuring rock `n' roll-inspired wine labels. ``Wines That Rock'' is Friday at 7 p.m. at Miramonte Resort & Spa's pool deck in Indian Wells. Wine labels inspired by the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead, the Police, Train and the Dave Matthews Band will be paired with appetizers and classic rock selected by a DJ, according to resort spokeswoman Chris Martello.
Combinations include Grateful Dead ``Steal Your Face'' red paired with a ``Touch of Grey'' blue cheese-stuffed mushrooms, and Pink Floyd ``Dark Side of the Moon'' cabernet sauvignon with ``Comfortably Numb'' sliders, Martello said. Attendees are encouraged to wear concert T-shirts.
