PALM DESERT, Calif. - Art lovers are invited to share their opinion to help choose Palm Desert's newest public art piece.
According to the city's public information officer David Hermann, the city is scheduled to purchase one of the sculptures from the El Paseo Invitational Exhibition from 2013/2014.
But this year, for only the second time in the exhibition's 18-year history, the public has been asked to help the city select which sculpture to purchase.
You can vote online or by emailing your selection to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the contest's conclusion at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.
For more information or to cast your vote by phone, call 760-837-1664.
You can only vote once and the city reserves the right to decline to purchase a sculpture.
You an view high resolution images of the sculptures in the Public Art section of the city's website.
