INDIO, Calif. - A man was killed after a shooting at the Mountain View Garden Apartments in Indio Thursday night. Police are still looking for four suspects wanted in connection to the man's death.
According to the Riverside County Coroner's Office, the victim was 20-year-old Adrian Ramirez.
The shooting occurred just before 8:30 a.m. when a group of men began arguing, according to the Indio Police Department.
The argument ended with the victim being shot in the upper torso. Four other men ran away from the scene, according to Ben Guitron with Indio police.
Ramirez was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center but died around 9 p.m., according to the coroner.
The Indio Police Department is investigating the shooting.
The father of Ramirez told KESQ & CBS Local 2 News that a car wash fundraiser will be held this weekend to help pay for the funeral services. We'll have more information Thursday night if you want to donate.
Ramirez' funeral services are scheduled for Sunday and Monday, according to Ramirez' father.
