DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. - The Desert Hot Springs Police Department needed some help to identify two suspects involved in a commercial burglary in November. After surveillance video aired on TV, officers received several phone calls that helped them locate the suspects.
The burglary happened on November, 11, in the 66-600 block of 2nd Street.
Residents called police after seeing the video and gave them the names of the suspects a day after the story aired. According to police, 33-year-old Stephen Tollette of Desert Hot Springs was arrested on December, 18, and Alexander Carlotta, 19, also a Desert Hot Springs resident, was taking into custody on January, 2.
Both suspects have been booked at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning. The Desert Hot Springs Police Department says thanks to the public for helping them make the arrests.
