PALM SPRINGS - Actress Sandra Bullock will be honored at the 25th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival in January.

Bullock will receive the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the festival's awards gala Jan. 4 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The festival is Jan. 3-14.

Past recipients of the Desert Palm Achievement Award include Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Naomi Watts and
